Revamp chugging along

Council deputy chair and Wairarapa representative Adrienne Staples visited the Hyundai Rotem in Wellington last week, along with other members of the council’s transport committee.

She said she was checking on the progress of Wairarapa train carriages that were undergoing a “spruce-up”. The carriages were getting new paint work, windows, carpet, and upholstery. Staples said heavy maintenance was also scheduled.
