There are ve new cases of covid-19 in managed isolation and quarantine facilities reported yesterday, and another person was taken to hospital.
In a statement yesterday, the Health Ministry said two people with covid-19 were being treated at Middlemore Hospital — both transferred from the Auckland quarantine facility.
“Both are in a stable condition and were taken to hospital safely using strict infection prevention and control measures which are in place for all hospital transfers from managed isolation and quarantine facilities,” the ministry said.
It said for privacy reasons, no further details would be released. There are no cases of community transmission. –
