Samoan born New Zealand raised chef Monica Galetti now resides in London. After her chef training here in New Zealand, she moved to London in 1999 where she worked alongside Michel Roux Jnr in Le Gavroche, London as senior souschef.

She met her husband whilst working at the 3 star Michelin rating restaurant and together they now run their own restaurant, Mere in Fitzrovia, London. A spectacular career in the restaurant industry, she’s known for her signature dishes combining her love for classic French and South Paci c cuisine. Many will know Monica through her television career, presenting with BBC2 shows, Masterchef – the Professionals and Amazing Hotels – Life Beyond The Lobby.
